Functionality of Informix CLI Stages
The Informix CLI stage supports stream input, stream output, and reference output links.

Defining the Informix CLI Connection
When you use the GUI to edit an Informix CLI stage, the Informix CLI Stage dialog box opens. This dialog box has the Stage, Input, and Output pages (depending on whether there are inputs to and outputs from the stage.

Steps in Defining an Informix CLl Stage
You must define an Informix CLI stage from the InfmxCLI Stage dialog box before you can use it.

Defining Informix CLI Input Data
When you write data to a table in an Informix database, the Informix CLI stage has an input link. Define the properties of this link and the column definitions of the data on the Input page in the InformixCLI Stage dialog box of the GUI.

Writing Data to Informix
