Configuring Citrix

Configure Citrix integration with the Connections mobile app.

Before you begin

IBM Connections supports Citrix XenMobile Enterprise.

About this task

When a mobile device is managed by a mobile device management (MDM) product such as Citrix, you can erase the data from the device if it is lost or stolen.
Tip: To erase Connections data only, follow the instructions in the Wiping app data from a device topic. To erase all data on a device and return it to its factory state, follow the instructions in your Citrix product documentation.

To enable Citrix integration with the Connections mobile app, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Download the MDX file for the Connections apps from the Worx App Gallery.
  2. Log in to the XenMobile App Controller.
  3. Click Apps & Docs and select iOS or Android.
  4. Tap + and select the MDX file to upload.
  5. Configure app details and policy settings.
    Notes:
    • The Connections mobile app for Android does not support SecureBrowse.
    • The Connections mobile app for iOS does not support Full VPN Tunnel.

    The configurations are set per app and are compatible with each other.

    Under General Policies, you can change the account types that appear when the user creates a new account. You can define up to three account types, and you can replace one of the existing account types with a URL to your organization's IBM Connections deployment.

  6. Click Save.
