Deployed addition and extension updating and removal
This is an overview of what is involved in updating or
removing previously deployed additions and extensions.
There are three major steps required to update or remove deployed
additions and extensions from InfoSphere® MDM:
Modifying the database
Modifying the XSD and properties files
Removing modules from the application
Database modification
When you generate code for additions and extensions, a
number of SQL scripts are created. These scripts can be found in your
module project resources/sql folder and can be
used to deploy and to roll back database changes associated with your
additions and extensions.
Application module removal
If you want to permanently remove additions and extensions
from InfoSphere MDM,
you must delete the corresponding module projects and all projects
generated from them.
