InfoSphere MDM code tables

Code tables are used to store collections of values in the MDM database and can populate UI elements, such as lists, with the code table values.

Code tables also provide a way of mapping internal system values, usually numbers, to more intelligible text strings that users see in a front end interface.

You can interact with the code tables through a set of generic XML transactions. The code table transactions can be used to access, view, or modify code table data for any of the existing code tables.
