Working with Party maintenance services
Party maintenance services are provided to meet the needs of clients that are implementing InfoSphere® MDM solutions in the Registry or Coexistence architectural styles.
With Registry and Coexistence styles, the data typically flows into InfoSphere MDM through batched data load, whereas with the Centralized architectural style, new and legacy applications typically access InfoSphere MDM through SOA interfaces.
You can load the Party domain data into InfoSphere MDM using Party maintenance services invoked by the Batch Processor or by any other batch framework. Because the data is processed by InfoSphere MDM services during load, this approach provides the best level of business data validation. The same set of Party maintenance services can be used for both initial and delta loads.
