Limitations of the WS-I validator

Imported or included documents are not validated during CREATE operation

If the WS-I validator is invoked for a CREATE operation, when a document is first stored in the registry, validation is performed only on the document being created; any additional imported or included WSDL or schema documents are not validated.

Imported or included documents are validated during UPDATE, MAKE_GOVERNABLE, or TRANSITION operations.

This might result in fewer errors being reported on the CREATE operation than are detected on all other operations, when the included or imported WSDLs and schemas are included in the validation process.
