Clearing data grids

You can permanently delete all of the entries in a data grid. You can clear the data grid to remove stale information or test entries.

1. In the user interface, click Data Grid > data_grid_type > data_grid_name.
2. Click the clear grid icon () to delete all of the data grid entries. You must confirm that you want to remove all of the entries in the data grid.
3. You can verify that the data grid entries were deleted in the user interface. Click Monitor > Individual Data Grid Overview > data_grid_name and view the Used capacity vs. Number of cache entries chart. For simple data grids and session data grids, the number of entries in the data grid should approach zero. However, with a dynamic cache data grid, several entries remain in the data grid. These data grid entries contain the configuration information for the dynamic cache data grid.
