Step 1: Exporting an embedded rule project to Operational Decision Manager

Business Rules Embedded allows a host application to build a rule project through APIs and embedded editors. The project can then be exported to an Operational Decision Manager component that has more advanced features for editing and managing rules.

About this task

The Business Rules Embedded APIs allow a rule project to be exported to Operational Decision Manager as a compressed file. Exporting a rule project to Operational Decision Manager is a one-way transition. It is not possible to import rule projects from Decision Center back into the Business Rules Embedded authoring environment.
