Step 11: Setting the DecodeUrlAsUTF8 custom property

If you have deployed the hosted transparent decision service EAR file to enable those services, you must set the web container custom property DecodeUrlAsUTF8 to false to support a localized ruleset path.

Before you begin

You set this custom property in the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console. Log in to the console as explained in Before you start: Opening the administration console.

Procedure

To set the DecodeUrlAsUTF8 web container custom property:

In the side panel, click Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers, and then click the server name.
Under Container Settings, click Web container settings > Web container.
Under Additional Properties, click Custom properties.
In the next panel, click New and then type DecodeUrlAsUTF8 as the name and false as the value.
Click Apply and Save to save directly to the master configuration.
