Managing users from Decision Center

You use Decision Center or Ant tasks to manage users and groups.

There are two aspects to user management from Decision Center:
  • Declaring users in the Decision Center database so that its users are the same as those from the registry used by the application server to authenticate access to Decision Center.
  • Enabling groups on the users that you declare in the Decision Center database. Decision Center groups are used for finer-grained authorization through the Decision Center branch security and permissions feature.

The way to keep users consistent and manage groups is different depending on whether your user registry is an LDAP or another type of registry.
