To use workflow related applets in Administration Console for Content Platform Engine with IBM®
WebSphere® Application Server, you must disable HTTP
Only session cookies.
About this task
These changes must be modified for the WebSphere profile
that hosts the Content Platform Engine server
because Administration Console for Content Platform Engine is
collocated with the Content Platform Engine server.
To
prevent applet sessions from failing, you must disable the relevant
HTTP Only settings for your deployment. You can do this globally for
SSO or when using SSL. You can also do this for Content Platform Engine only.
Procedure
Running FileNet P8 client
applications with WebSphere Application
Server:
- Disable HTTP Only settings globally
for SSO:
- Log in to the WebSphere Application
Server administration
console.
- Browse to .
- Under General properties, clear Set
security cookies to HTTP Only to help prevent cross-site scripting
attacks and click Apply.
- Enable cookies and disable HTTP Only settings
globally at the server level setting when using SSL:
- Log in to the WebSphere Application
Server administration
console.
- Browse to .
- Select the server where FileNetEngine is deployed.
- Click Session Management.
- Under General properties, select Override
session management and click Apply.
- Click the Enable cookies link
under Session tracking mechanism.
- Clear the Set session cookies to HTTP Only
to help prevent cross-site scripting attacks check box.
- Enable cookies and disable the HTTP Only setting
for the deployed application for Content Platform Engine only:
- Log in to the WebSphere Application
Server administration
console.
- Browse to .
- Under General properties, select Override
session management and click Apply.
- Click the Enable cookies link
under Session tracking mechanism.
- Under General properties, clear Set
security cookies to HTTP Only to help prevent cross-site scripting
attacks, and click Apply.
- Save the settings to the master configuration.
- Restart WebSphere Application
Server.
