Import the sample into your workspace. See sample home
for import instructions.
Complete the following tasks to set up the database tables:
Switch to the Data Project Explorer
view. This is usually found in the lower left corner of the screen.
(If this is not present, open the Window
menu, found on the toolbar at the top of the toolkit window, select Show View and select
Data Project Explorer)
Expand the DatabaseInput Data Design project.
Right-click AdapterMigration_create_tables_<db>.sql
where <db> is db2
or oracle and choose Run SQL.
Choose a connection to the database or create a new one
following the on-screen instructions, then click Finish.
Note. When you create and access the ADAPTER_ADDRESS,
ADAPTER_CUSTOMER, ADAPTER_INVOICE
and DBINPUT_EVENTS tables, be aware of
the following issues:
When you run the script that creates the tables in the DBINPUT
database, the user identifier from which you run the script determines
the database schema name. For example, if your user identifier is
USERID, the fully qualified name of the
ADAPTER_CUSTOMER table is
USERID.ADAPTER_CUSTOMER.
When you set an integration node to access a table, if the node is not using
the same user identifier to access the database that you used when
you created the database and table, include the schema name in the
node. For example, Database.USERID.ADAPTER_CUSTOMER.
The prebuilt ESQL used in this sample assumes the integration node is
being run by the user that created the tables and hence does not
specify a schema.
