Specifies a range for propagation delay. Propagation
delay represents the time needed for a signal to travel from one end
of the link to the other.
min and
max have
the same range of the following values:
- MINIMUM
- Indicates minimum delay.
- NEGLIGIB
- Indicates a local area network delay (less than 0.48 milliseconds).
- TERRESTR
- Indicates telephone network delay (between 0.48 and 49.152 milliseconds).
- PACKET
- Indicates a packet-switched network delay (between 49.152 and
245.76 milliseconds).
- LONG
- Indicates a satellite delay (greater than 245.76 milliseconds).
- MAXIMUM
- Indicates a maximum delay.
