The APPCCMD CONTROL=SEND, QUALIFY=CONFRMD macroinstruction is the only way to respond positively to a confirmation request. This macroinstruction is one of the few SEND macroinstructions that can be issued when the local conversation state is not SEND. (For details on the syntax and operands for the macroinstruction, see Table 1.) Application programs can respond negatively to a confirmation request by reporting an error.
