This message is issued in response to a MODIFY TRACE,TYPE=VTAM command or when TRACE,TYPE=VTAM is specified on the TRACE start option and SUBTRACE is specified without a valid OPTION parameter on the command.
VTAM® rejects the request. For start VTAM command, VTAM will issue message IST1311A to prompt you for the correct value of the TRACE or NOTRACE option.
Enter the command again with the trace option specified on this message to activate or deactivate the SUBTRACE type.
