Explanation

This message is the first in a group of messages that VTAM® issues when a DISPLAY APING command is entered from the MVS™ console with a value specified on the PASSWORD parameter (i.e. PASSWORD=xxxxx). Since entering the password value on the command causes it to be displayed on the console and in the system log, which is a security exposure, the command is failed. A full explanation of the message group follows.
