NCP LOADLIB is the load library containing the NCP load modules and resource resolution tables (RRTs).

When the NCP is loaded, the NCP definition statements, which are stored in VTAMLST, are read into storage on the host to define the resources connected through the communication controller. The NCP resource resolution table (RRT) is loaded into the host, and the NCP load module is loaded into storage on the communication controller. Figure 1 illustrates the NCP load process.

The NCP definition statements are loaded directly into VTAMLST. However, if you generate a NEWDEFN data set, take the contents of the NEWDEFN data set and manually transfer them into VTAMLST. For more information about NCP loading and the NEWDEFN data set, see the NCP, SSP, and EP Generation and Loading Guide.
