You can change the name MOSS associates with the load module on the communication controller disk to another name. This is useful if you want to load from a disk or keep load module changes transparent to your operators.

Use the MODIFY LOAD command with the NEWNAME operand and ACTION=RENAME specified.

To associate the NCP name with different load module names without using the renaming step:

1. Generate the NCP source programs using different load module names.
2. Activate the NCP and specify the load module by using the LOADMOD operand.
3. Use the name specified in the ID operand, not the load module name, to identify the NCP.
