In Figure 1, if NCP2 is inactive and LINK1 is active, the operator at HOST1 can dump NCP2 by specifying ID=LINKSTA1 on the MODIFY DUMP command. If HOST2 activates NCP3, HOST2 can dump NCP2 by specifying ID=LINKSTA4.
