Link-attached NCPs in a CMC configuration

z/OS Communications Server: SNA Network Implementation Guide
SC27-3672-01

In a multiple-domain network, you can define a switched major node in one domain and treat its logical units as cross-domain resources in other domains. You can also define a switched major node in each domain that owns an NCP and has a dial port for a terminal. If defined in more than one domain, NCPs can be dialed-in to or be dialed-out from each of the host processors in which the major node is defined.

No HOST definition statement should be defined for a link-attached NCP.
