The VTAM® operator in the end node activates a major node containing LUA, LUB, and LUC. The end node sends a registration request to NN1.
The network node begins adding resources to its directory database. The network node successfully adds LUA. However, it encounters a problem and cannot continue adding resources to the directory database. The network node sends a negative reply to the end node to indicate which resource the network node was trying to add when it encountered the problem. The CV'36' indicates the sense code. The CV'37' indicates where the network node stopped adding to its directory database.
The end node tries again to register those resources that were not successfully registered before.
The network node successfully adds to the directory database and returns a reply.
