  1. The virtual route selection exit routine receives:
    • Address of VR1,TP1 descriptor block
    • Address of VR2,TP2 descriptor block
    • Address of VR3,TP1 descriptor block
    • (*)Address of VR4,TP0 descriptor block
  2. The virtual route exit routine reorders the list and returns to VTAM®:
    • Address of VR3,TP1 descriptor block
    • Address of VR4,TP0 descriptor block
    • Address of VR1,TP1 descriptor block
    • (*)Address of VR2,TP2 descriptor block
  3. VTAM attempts to assign the pending session to VR3, then VR4, then VR1, then VR2.
