z/OS Communications Server: CMIP Services and Topology Agent Guide

VTAM® CMIP services supports the CMIP syntaxes as documented in ASN.1 specification of the basic CMIP strings with certain exceptions. CMIP services supports all CMIP verbs:
  • EVENT-REPORT
  • GET
  • SET
  • ACTION
  • CREATE
  • DELETE
  • CANCEL-GET

VTAM CMIP services does not support atomic synchronization. If atomic synchronization is specified, the CMIP request is responded to with a syncNotSupport error. VTAM CMIP services does not support the EFD scheduling attributes.
