SET OF and SEQUENCE OF types z/OS Communications Server: CMIP Services and Topology Agent Guide SC27-3646-00 |
|
The SET OF and SEQUENCE OF types represent one or more instances of a SET or a SEQUENCE. For a description of the differences among constructed types, see Table 1. An application program can send a SET OF or SEQUENCE OF value to CMIP services in the following form: .-,--------------------. V | >>-+-------+--+-(----+------------------+-+--)-+--------------->< '-label-' | '-+-------+--value-' | | '-label-' | | (1) | '-<--hex value------>------------' Notes:
There is no limitation (other than subtyping specified in the ASN.1) as to the number of members that can be specified in the SET OF or SEQUENCE OF. It is valid to specify a SET OF or SEQUENCE OF with no members, so long as subtype constraints are obeyed. |
