  • Alter the contents of the general registers
  • OR an entire data field with another
The OR subcommand performs logical OR data or addresses from:
  • One virtual storage address to another
  • One general register to another
  • A general register to virtual storage
  • Virtual storage to a general register
  • An access register to virtual storage
  • Virtual storage to an access register
  • One access register to another
