Operands Used to Release a UNIX File

z/OS TSO/E User's Guide

To release a UNIX file, specify operands that provide the:
  • Hierarchical file name - (PATH operand)
  • Disposition - (PATHDISP operand)

Refer to z/OS TSO/E Command Reference for allowable options and attributes that you can specify on each of these operands.
