In input mode, you type a line of data and then enter it into the data set by pressing the Enter key. You can enter lines of data as long as you are in input mode. One typed line of input becomes one record in the data set. Note: If you enter a command or subcommand while you are in input
mode, the system adds it to the data set as input data. Enter a null line
to return to edit mode before entering any subcommands.
