PRINTDS provides the value of the TITLE/NOTITLE operand to the initialization exit in the DEPL. However, if the value the initialization exit provides in the DEPL conflicts with the data set's attributes, PRINTDS ignores the value. If TITLE is the default value, PRINTDS prints title lines on each
output page, only if both of the following are true:
Otherwise, PRINTDS uses NOTITLE. If NOTITLE is the default, PRINTDS does not print title lines for sequential data sets or members of partitioned data sets. However, PRINTDS always prints the directory of a PDS with title lines. For more information about the TITLE and NOTITLE operands, see . |
