For users who are defined to RACF®, the exit can return a new password to the logon processor in the New Password parameter. If the IKJTSOxx parmlib member indicates PASSPHRASE(ON) the exit can return a new password phrase. The new password replaces the current password, or the new password phrase replaces the current password phrase. Phrases can be from 9 to 100 characters in length while passwords can only be up to 8 characters. The exit must also set the Don't Prompt bit on.
