THE VSAM EOV SYNCHRONIZATION REQUEST FOR DATA SET (dsname COULD NOT BE COMPLETED BECAUSE THE CALL TO ALLOCATION TO UPDATE THE TIOT FAILED

Explanation

SMS called MVS™ Allocation to update the first dummy UCB entry in the TIOT. This call failed. This message will be accompanied by another message that will explain in greater detail why the call to MVS failed.

In the message text:
dsname
The data set name

System action

The SMS VTOC Data Set Services request fails.

This is a system error. Contact your system programmer.
