DATA SET ALLOCATION REQUEST FAILED - THE ACS STORAGE GROUP ROUTINE ASSIGNED A NON-TEMPORARY OR VSAM DATA SET TO A STORAGE GROUP WHICH IS NOT OF TYPE POOL

Explanation

The storage group ACS routine assigned a non-temporary or VSAM data set to a VIO storage group. This type of assignment is not allowed.

System action

The request fails.

Programmer response

Modify the storage group ACS routine to include at least one POOL type storage group in the list of storage groups for non-temporary and VSAM data sets.
