z/OS MVS Setting Up a Sysplex
SA23-1399-00

To allow system-managed duplexing by XES on a Logger structure, the LOGR couple data set used in the sysplex must be at the HBB7705 format level (this requires all systems be at the z/OS® 1.2 level or greater), so that Logger can newly connect to the structure specifying IXLCONN ALLOWAUTO=YES. See LOGR parameters for format utility for bringing in a LOGR couple data set at the z/OS 1.2 format level (HBB7705).
