Create a new CFRM policy (or update an existing CFRM policy) that has a structure definition for the structure to be added. See Planning a coupling facility policy for more information. Activate the CFRM policy using the system command SETXCF START,POLICY,TYPE=CFRM,POLNAME=polname.

The new structure should be added immediately to the CFRM active policy. See application specific instructions on how to initiate use of the new structure definition.
