Creating message skeletons

The rest of each install message file consists of message skeletons.

Each message requires one or more message skeletons. A message skeleton consists of a message key and message text, which can include substitution tokens. A message key consists of a message identifier, format number, and line number.

Note: If the message skeleton you are creating contains a TIME, DATE, or DAY substitution token, the format must be defined in the system configuration member, CNLcccxx, for the language. See z/OS MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference for more information on these substitution tokens.
