The data columns are:

VOLUME

The volume serial number.

RACK-#

The rack number, which is the identifier that corresponds to a specific volume's shelf location.

OWNER-ID

The user ID of the owner.

EXPIRATION

The expiration date.

SEC

The security class level.

UNIT

The media name, which is the value that describes the shape of the media.

STATUS

The status of the volume, which can be one of the following:

MASTER
SCRATCH
USER
INIT
ENTRY

DESCRIPTION

A free input field for additional information.

ACCOUNT-DATA

Accounting data from JCL.

Figure 2 shows a sample report of volumes that are sorted by rack number. The data columns for this report are the same as the Volumes Sorted by Volume Serial report, as shown in Figure 1.
