Setting Caching On for the Subsystem z/OS DFSMS Access Method Services Commands SC23-6846-01 |

SETCACHE SUBSYSTEM ON enables normal caching for the subsystem.
If cache storage is disabled or in a pending state, the command fails.
Note: Pinned data, a cache failure, or cache disabled for maintenance
can cause the command to fail.
