You can use normal or extended sharing for PDSE data sets in a single-system or multiple-system environment. Ensure that the PDSESHARING option in the IGDSMSxx member of SYS1.PARMLIB is set correctly for your system. Rule: You also must have global resource
serialization (GRS) or an equivalent product running on your system.
