Access Method Services

You can define data sets and establish catalogs by using a multifunction services program called access method services. Use the following commands with all data sets.

Command	Description
ALLOCATE	Allocate a new data set
ALTER	Change the attributes of a data set
DEFINE NONVSAM	Catalog a data set
DELETE	Delete a data set
LISTCAT	List catalog entries
PRINT	Print a data set
