There are two ways of using the SMF dump data sets. You may be using a single data set to receive multiple dumps from SMF recording data sets (by specifying DISP=MOD). Alternately, a new dump data set may be used each time an SMF recording data sets is emptied. Either method produces dump data sets usable as input to the ICFRU.
