Rebuilding the ECS Structure

If you find that the ECS structure is damaged, you can initiate a rebuild of the structure by issuing the following command:

SETXCF START,REBUILD,STRNAME=SYSIGGCAS_ECS

During the rebuild, ECS activity is automatically quiecsed and reactivated as described in Quiecsing ECS Activity. The contents of the original ECS structure are discarded and a new structure is created. The new structure is populated with the most current sharing information for each catalog as they are referenced.
