IGGCSIVS z/OS DFSMS Managing Catalogs SC23-6853-00 |
|
IGGCSIVS is an assembler program that identifies which data sets on a given volume reside in a particular catalog. In the event of a disk drive failure, this program would be useful in identifying which entries in a catalog need to be cleaned up if the data sets were recovered to a different volume serial number. Change the Binder/Linkage Editor SYSLIN DD statement to point to the linkage library for your installation. The input to IGGCSIVS is an 80-byte SYSIN DD record. The six- character volume serial number should be left justified and starts in column 1 of the input record. The catalog name of the catalog to be searched starts in column 7. Multiple input records can be supplied. The output is a listing of all data sets that reside in the given catalog and are on the given volume. |
