CSIFILTK, Generic Filter Key z/OS DFSMS Managing Catalogs SC23-6853-00 |

CSI uses a generic filter key supplied in CSIFILTK. A generic filter
key is a character string that describes the catalog entry names for
which you want information returned. The generic filter key can contain
the following symbols and are interpreted as follows:
If an absolute GDS name is specified followed by a period and one of the previous symbols, the GDS name (if it exists) will not be returned from the search. However, it is possible that longer data set names that start with the same prefix as the absolute GDS name will be found. See the CSDFILTK examples that follow. |
