If DIAGNOSE finds errors, it issues messages explaining the errors. The record in error is also dumped, unless you specify NODUMP. The messages provided by DIAGNOSE can result in the following summaries:
The output of DIAGNOSE generally consists of three error messages.
The first, message IDC21364I, provides the following information:
The second message is usually IDC21365I, which provides a display of the records in error. If this record was previously displayed, the record is not displayed again. If the record is a DSCB, the first 44 bytes of the record are not displayed. The third message produced by DIAGNOSE is IDC21363I, which is a summary of all the errors found by DIAGNOSE. |
