z/OS Security Server RACF Callable Services

  1. If the calling process is a superuser, the real, saved, and effective z/OS UNIX user identifiers (UIDs) are changed. If the calling process is not a superuser, but the input UID is equal to the real or saved UID, the effective UID of the process is changed. If neither condition is met, the UIDs of the process are not changed, and an error return code and and an error reason code are returned.
