This chapter lists messages that are C error strings returned to the calling application. The calling application can choose to display the messages on the console or log them elsewhere. All strings are NULL terminated. The format of these error strings is:

where:

IRR

identifies the message as a RACF® message.

PI

identifies the message as a message from the SAF plug-in.

nnn

is the serial number of the message. Message ids in the range 000 - 099 are returned by the SAF user mapping plug-in dll, irrspim. Message ids in the range 100 - 199 are returned by the default implementation of the SAF user mapping plug-in (irrspime).

is the text of the message.
