IRRC058I
RRSF PROTOCOL CONVERSION FROM old-protocol TO new-protocol FOR NODE node-name [SYSNAME system-name] IS COMPLETE.

Explanation

You might have issued a TARGET command (or set of TARGET commands) to define a new protocol for the specified remote connection, and requested for that connection to be operative. The connection is successfully established under the new protocol, and all the work that is contained within the workspace data sets belonging to the old protocol is processed. The old protocol instance, including its workspace data sets, is deleted.

System action

The connection continues communicating by using the new-protocol protocol with only the workspace data sets associated with that protocol.

System programmer response

When IRRC058I is issued on both systems, edit the RACF® parameter library member to delete the TARGET statement or statements that defined the old protocol. It is no longer needed and causes unnecessary processing the next time the member is processed. Verify that the TARGET command or commands that define and activate the new protocol are saved in the parameter library (in case you entered them only from the console). See z/OS Security Server RACF System Programmer's Guidefor information about the protocol conversion process.
