Unable to open dsname, ddname.

Explanation

If the database is for input, the utility stops processing. If the database is for output, only processing to that database ends.

System programmer response

To recover from the problem, ensure that the DD statement is correct.

Problem determination

Check for other errors related to the disk pack on which the database resides.
