- Initialization Error Recovery
- RSCS does not follow the procedure outlined in BSC Initialization
Error Recovery. It retries any type of error 15 times and only terminates
after this many errors or if there is no I/O device defined for the
line. All retries involve rewriting the SOH ENQ.
- Normal (Non-initialization) Error Recovery
- RSCS follows the actions in BSC Error Recovery except for data
check, data overrun, or lost data. If these errors happen on a write,
the data is re-transmitted. If they happen on a read, a Negative Acknowledge
is sent.
