>--<NO IDLE TCP/IP LINES, RC=3>--<SOCKET NOT AVAILABLE, RC=4>--->

>--<NODE NAME NOT RECOGNIZED, RC=5>--<NETWORK PATH MANAGER NOT AVAILABLE, RC=6>-><

A request was received from another NJE node to initiate a NJE connection, but requested resources were not available. One of the following texts will be displayed:
DEDICATED LINE LINEnnnn IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=1
The requested dedicated line does not exist.
DEDICATED LINE LINEnnnn IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=2
The requested dedicated line exists but is either already active or not a TCP/IP line.
NO IDLE TCP/IP LINES, RC=3
No available TCP/IP line can be located.
SOCKET NOT AVAILABLE, RC=4
No SOCKET(xxxx) definition can be found to match the incoming request.
NODE NAME NOT RECOGNIZED, RC=5
The incoming request is for a NJE node not defined to JES2.
NETWORK PATH MANAGER NOT AVAILABLE, RC=6
The network path manager has previously failed and was unable to recover. A restart of JES2 is required.
SYSTEM RESOURCE SHORTAGE BUFFERS, RC=7
No TP buffers are available.
LINE IS BUSY, RC=8
The specified line is already in use.
SYSTEM RESOURCE SHORTAGE NETDCTS, RC=9
All networking lines defined by the LINENUM parameter on the NJEDEF initialization statement are in use.
INTERNAL ERROR, RC=10
An internal error is detected.
APPCLU CLASS INACTIVE, RC=11
A secure signon is attempted (through SIGNON=SECURE on the NODE statement), but the encryption key can not be used because the RACF® APPCLU class is not active.

System action

The request to initiate an NJE session is rejected.

Operator response

Start a qualifying TCP/IP line, and have the other node reissue the request.

System programmer response

Ensure that the correct LINE, NODE, and SOCKET definitions are included in the JES2 initialization parameters, or define them dynamically through $ADD or $T operator commands.
