Explanation
>>-$SN, SOCKET=--xxxxxxxx--REJECTED - -reason------------------><
The operator attempted to initiate a TCP/IP
NJE session using the $SN command.
reason is one of the following:
- TCP/IP INTERFACE NOT ACTIVE, RC=01
- No NETSRV devices have been defined.
- SOCKET xxxxxxxx IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=02
- The requested socket has not been defined.
- ALREADY IN SESSION WITH xxxxxxxx, RC=03
- The requested socket is already in session.
- LINEnnnn IS NOT A TCP/IP LINE, RC=04
- The line requested did not specify UNIT=TCP.
- DEDICATED LINE LINEnnnn IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=05
- The line specified on the NODE(nnn) statement
is not usable. It might already be in session.
- NETWORK PATH MANAGER IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=06
- JES2 cannot start the connection because the network path manager
PCE failed.
- NODEnnnn IS THE LOCAL NODE, RC=07
- The connection failed because the specified socket specifies the
local node.
- NO IDLE TCP/IP LINE IS AVAILABLE, RC=08
- No line is specified on the $SN command and JES2 cannot find a
started TCP/IP line that was not currently busy.
- RESOURCE SHORTAGE BUFFERS|NETLINES, RC=09
- A resource shortage exists. NJEDEF LINENUM might be too small.
- NETWORK PATH MANAGER INTERNAL ERROR, RC=10
- An internal error occurred.
- SERVER NETSRVxxx IS NOT ACTIVE, RC=11
- The NETSRV default or specified value has not been started.
- SERVER NETSRVxxx IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=12
- The specified NETSRV on the NODE(nnn) statement
does not exist.
- LINE LINEnnnnn IS NOT AVAILABLE, RC=13
- The specified line has not been started or is in use by another
application.
- SECURE SIGNON FAILED, APPCLU CLASS INACTIVE, RC=14
- SIGNON=SECURE was specified on the NODE statement for the adjacent
node, but a secure signon cannot be done because the APPCLU class
has not been activated.
- SOCKET socketnm DOES NOT SPECIFY A VALID IPADDR, RC=15
- A socket statement specified IPADDR=*LOCAL, but the node is not
the local node. *LOCAL is only valid for the local node.
System action
JES2 fails the start of the connection.
Operator response
Contact system programmer.
System programmer response
Verify that the correct initialization
SOCKET= values are specified on the NETSRV initialization statement.
